Happy Sunday to all of you people in America!!
This week was full of rain. Thats about it just rain haha. It was just pouring so not a lot was done but it was still a fun and successful week.
Soa and I have been visiting the members a lot lately. Trying to get to know all of them and of course help them become missionaries as well. We have been sharing a beautiful message called... THE FIRST VISION!! I love it with all my heart. Every time we share it new insights are always added. Something that almost every family says about the blessings they have received is about the Plan of Salvation. It is such a beautiful thing that we have.
I have been thinking a lot about my cute little niece (yes im calling her mine) haha but she was born a year ago today! I get to celebrate it before all of you. But I was reflecting on that experience that I was able to be a part of seeing the entire family being so excited for a little baby to be born. Then when she was born it was like a piece of Heaven was just sent down to us. We always talk about how scary it is going to be to be a parent. That we literally are going to be a missionary every day because we are raising a little convert. Children dont know anything about the gospel either and we have to teach them. I also think of how we get so frustrated and annoyed and everything that we shouldnt. But we just need to humble ourselves and become as a little child. I am so grateful for the Plan that our Heavenly Father created for us. That we all chose to follow the Saviour and to come here to be tried but also to hasten the work and help our brothers and sisters come to know the truth as well.
I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ. I know that he was given the power to restore the church. I know that the Saviour did come to earth to establish his gospel and then died and suffered. For each of us. That the love he has for us is far greater than we will ever know. I know that we all have a duty to preach the gospel and do our best everyday so that we too one day can live with God again. I love this gospel, I love being here in New Zealand representing the Saviour in this special time.
I hope you all also take the time to watch the churchs new video on new years. Dont look back. Reflect on the story of Lots wife and see how each of you can change this year. How we can all improve and become the children that our Heavenly Father want us to be. I love you all heaps and hope you remember your infinite worth!
Kia Kaha,
Sister Boiteux
