Your Companion Knows You..

This week was full of wonderful and beautiful miracles. Seriously I haven't felt the spirit like this in quite some time and it has been great. Dropped Sister Fifita off in Panmure on Wednesday then picked up my daughter Sister Fonua that afternoon!!!! This is how the event happens...
So we pull up to the mission home and im just hanging with the Sister Training Leaders then President comes out and tells the trainers to come up. So we walk to the door and I shake Presidents hand and the first thing he says is "Your companion knows you..." I was so confused hahaha so the assistants showed me her name and you got it right. (I cant say her first name anymore) But its Sister Fonua. She is from NZ. Her parents live up in Keri Keri so I served in their branch for a few months. They were the family I was closest with. So Sister Fonua would come out with me and my companions all the time and make us yummy food and what not. So I ran up the stairs and she saw me and it was a sweet reunion. To make it better she didnt know i was her trainer haha President came up and told her and she freaked out more... Lets just say he will have his eye on us. It was a wonderful little tender mercy for the both of us. Sister is actually just waiting for her visa to head over to Jackson Mississippi. So im just training her until she leaves to my country.

Sister Fonua is just so full of faith and diligence and has already taught me so much about missionary work. I have learned heaps from her. The amount of miracles we have seen in the past 5 days has been crazy, and we know its because of our faith and our obedience. So many times us as members can look at commandments or other practices of the church and not really understand the importance of them. We are just taught them so we keep and that's it. But they are more than just rules or guidelines that we have been given. They are here for our protection and they are here to make our faith grow and our relationship with Christ grow as well. A lot of people here always say "Oh the Mormon church you have all those rules." You can look at them as rules or you can look at them as blessings. They truly are blessings that help lead and guide us home. And as we are obedient to them we are trusted with more and more from our Heavenly Father. I promise that if you start studying why we do what we do and see them the way God sees them your love for the gospel will grow and that things that seemed hard to keep will soon become part of your life and you will love them and see how much it blesses your life. I love you all and am grateful for your prayers and your thoughts. I hope you all have a good week!

We Need Women Who..

Hello hello!
Welp this week was busy as. Not the kind of busy that we like but thats ok it was still good. We know miracles are coming to Avondale soon enough. We dropped pretty much all of our investigators so we are on a clean fresh slate which is good since transfers is on Wednesday! A time to start over and find those elect souls. On thursday we were able to go to Panmure for Sister specialized training! It was so great to be able to see all of the sisters and see some of the ones who have become my super close friends. The theme was "We need women who.." Which was my favourite talk from October conference. It was so incredible to feel the spirit and to listen to the wonderful speakers. I am truly grateful for the women in my life who helped me become who I am,

My mommy, my grandma, my sister, and melodee :) Of course there are others but these four have definitely showed me what its like to be a covenant keeping woman. They show me how to push through trials and to come out even stronger than I was before. They show me how important it is to have the gospel in my life. They all encouraged me to serve a mission and look at me now. I love it! I know that each of us have powerful potential that if we study the words of President Nelson and the other apostles and the prophet we can learn more on how to be stronger women in the church. I know that we are needed. I know the world is only going to get worse but that is the beauty of the gospel we can be the light in the darkness. I am now grateful for having served a mission. Im half way through and I still have so much to learn, but im grateful for what I already have learned. I know everything im learning in the mission field will apply to my future life and how I can help my future family. I also know by serving a mission I can acquire the qualities President Nelson spoke of. I know if we exercise our faith and strive to do what our Heavenly Father put us on earth to do then we can do it!! And He will help us do it. I hope you all had a great week. I love you all so much!

Do You Believe It?

What an incredible opportunity it was to be able to listen to the Lords servants this past weekend. I know that you all were lucky and watched it last week but here in NZ we had to wait a week. It was well worth the wait. Always a sad day when conference is over just as Elder Holland was saying we didnt want tomorrow to come!!!

I am so grateful for every message that was shared in conference. Especially since it was really focused on temple work, the spirit, and that we are children of God. Exactly a year ago I was able to go through the temple for my own endowment. I remember just being on such a spiritual high and so excited to make those sacred covenants with our Heavenly Father. The spirit that is felt in the temple is so special. The temple truly is the house of the Lord. Its my own personal Disneyland the happiest place on earth!!! I know how important it is to be worthy and to be clean to enter into the temple because those blessings and promises are priceless and they are worth it. I know one day everything im going through and everything I have done up to this point in my life is going to help me in the future. Not being trunky or anything but I truly cant wait to be able to enter into the temple with my celestially hot eternal companion and kneel at the altar and be able to receive that sealing covenant. It is a true blessing to be able to know that families can be together forever.

There are so many things I want to share about what I learned in conference. It was just jam packed with spiritual awesomeness, but im not going to share it. Because the weeks after conference is when all of us can read our notes or go back and read the talks and ponder on what we learned, ponder on how we can become better children of God. I love conference time and I just love the gospel. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God that he does receive revelation for us. I know that our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ church here on earth. I know that because God loves us he sent us here in families and he gave us prophets and apostles to lead us home. I hope you all take time and go back and relive conference weekend and continue to grow and become more like the Saviour!!

Ofa atu,

 WE WENT TO THE ZOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a rough P-day for certain reasons haha. The zone leaders had to go to the mission office so they brought back mail!! It is so nice to feel loved! People left me gifts! The zone leaders were also nice enough to buy me a stuffed elephant cause i kinda freaked out with happiness when i saw real elephants and then made us french toast because we had a comp study with them the next morning. #emmetttheelephant They are champs!
The Hans moved back to America. So we got to spend some time with them this week. Love that family!

When you stop to use the bathroom you have to take selfies. Cause pretty views.

Just Do You.

Kia Ora,

How grateful am I for the general womens session of conference. I know all of you just watched conference conference but here in New Zealand we get to wait a week to watch it. I absolutely love that everything was focused on service. Definitely something that I needed at this time. It is incredible to know that such small simple things can make a huge difference in some one elses life. I remember being on trade offs with one of my favorite STLs and she asked me what is the thing i want to accomplish in life. My response was "I want to change the world... I have no idea how but I want to make a difference." She said, "Sister Boiteux you may not change the world. But you can change someones world." That has stuck with me ever since. So every day I want to set out and to try and help change someones world. By small and simple things great things come to pass.
I know it is true that when you are down in the dumps and everything in the world is coming against you the greatest way to fight back is through service. Serving our Heavenly Father is the greatest way to be happy. Because when you are in the service of your fellow beings you are serving God. How great is that? We are literally Heavenly Fathers tools every single day. We can and we will make a difference if we do as we are asked and pray for those ways to help. I love you all and am so grateful for your prayers and for all you have done for me. I hope you have a great week! Love you so much!

The Molly Mormon

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL YOU LUCKY AMERICANS!! It is Easter day for you and I hope it is full of family, fun, food, and of course the spirit. This seriously was thee greatest Easter I have ever had. The spirit was just so special yesterday. As we were listening to the speakers and the lessons we had I was pondering on my family and what they would be doing today, I was also thinking of what we have done in the past.. Story time..

My brother might not remember this story but I do. One year we were at a family Easter party. All the kids were out looking for easter eggs and I remember seeing one on a basketball hoop. I was pretty little and couldnt reach it. I remember my cousin trying to jump up and get the egg that I really really wanted. That is when my brother came over and got the egg for me. When I opened it it was full of money!!! Every kids dream right? But that story didnt really have an effect on me like it did yesterday. I related it to the Saviour. How when we want some thing so badly he is there to help us get it. I couldnt reach the egg on my own so my big brother had to come and help me. How wonderful is that? It is such an incredible thing to know that our Saviour, Jesus Christ is ALWAYS here for us. No matter what we have done in our life, no matter what we are going through, no matter what we think of ourselves He is always there and will never leave us. I hope you all take some time today to go to followhim.mormon.org and watch the church's Easter initiative. I hope you all can find out what our Saviour can do for you. Follow Him. You can have new life. Just as the little chicks hatch out of their eggs, we can hatch out of our old life and into our new ones. The new one where Christ is in the center of it, where we start reaching outwards instead of inwards, where we try and make a difference in someones world. Please allow the atonement to make a difference in your life and come unto Christ.

I am so grateful for the Easter season. I know Christ lives. I know He died and was then resurrected. I know it is only through Him can we return to our Heavenly Father. I know that no matter what we are going through He is always just one prayer away. The atonement is so powerful and personal to me and I cant even explain how much I love Jesus Christ. I know His church is restored today and I know that by following Him and starting a new life we will be forever blessed. Happy Easter. #hallelujah

Love,
Sister Boiteux

oh lol i didnt even explain the title of my email. In this zone I have earned the title as the "Molly Mormon." A sister that gets made fun of for trying to be obedient. One of the elders called me that the other day at a service. I was really pondering on why that was a bad thing. Why the terms Molly Mormon or Peter Priesthood are supposed to hurt someone. I am actually really grateful to have earned that title. All im doing is trying to be more like the Saviour. I lack so much. It is crazy to see all of my flaws and to see how much I can improve but I know I can do it. I know all of us can do it. Just like the rest of the email was talking about was letting Christ change us. Start a new life and follow him. I love when people call others by that name.  Why? Because it shows that they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. Of course we can always do better but as members of the church we should always be striving to become like Christ. I truly know that through the atonement we can all be changed. It has been a tough as week and something I said while on trade offs is "I can do all things." Sister Lott lovingly corrected me and said "No Sister Boiteux  you cant. You can do hard things. But you can do ALL things through Christ!" Amen to that statement. You can do all things through Christ! :)
